Making Hungary 2013 A Reality
The La Jolla Water Polo Club is planning to take a team of boys to play water polo in Hungary in July. An itinerary has been set (which you can download here): the trip will last from July 16 to July 26, and will take the team to various locales in Hungary including Budapest, Eger, and Aggtelek.
The baseline cost for Hungary 2013 is $2714.00 with additional costs to cover the travel expenses of the coaching staff. The cost per player will likely be around $3,000.00. We will let families know the firm figure as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile we are actively engaged in the project of reducing costs to our water polo players in whatever ways we can. We will be hosting and advertising various fundraising projects in the next few months.
Can you help us?
Our fundraising starts with an outright request for gifts to underwrite the costs either for all boys on the trip or for targeted scholarships for players who may need extra assistance.
